Ever wondered why people lose their temper when something doesn’t go their way? Ever wonder why, things that don’t seem like a big deal to you tend to set others off? How can one mans favorite sports team losing ruin is whole week? Why do people rain make everyone grumpy? Why do people get offended over things that don’t personally affect them?
Simple, Because it’s easy. Some of those things may not seem easy but for most it is. It is easy to wake up, stub your toe and be in a bad mood for the rest of the day. It’s easy to see a gloomy day outside and feel like a dark cloud is hovering over you personally. It’s easy for someone to think negatively about situations that don’t go the way you want them too. For a lot of people it is a lot easier to point out peoples flaws then it is to praise their good attributes.
So, Why is everyone this way? Because, we like drama. Life without drama would be boring wouldn’t it? Imagine watching your favorite tv show or movie and there was no drama in it. Boooring. Drama and other negative things are good in our lives. They help us appreciate all the good things in life. Right? They are supposed to, but not many people focus enough of the good things and just think everything is negative.
People tend to stay in a negative state because sometimes it’s easier than learning why they do it. What I have learned in life through books and studying myself, is that our brains are a tool for us to use, yet somewhere along the line then brain took over. Your thought aren’t your thoughts. You stopped thinking logically and your brain had to take over. The brain wants to protect you at all costs. So, It sees everything as danger and wants you to avoid it.
So, take control back again. Learn to meditate. Be grateful for everything you have in life weather it be good or bad, either way its helping you somehow. Not everyone has the amount of money you have, or the luxuries. Some people don’t have running water or a roof over their head. some people in these situations can still see the positive in things and be happy. Happiness come from within, with taking back the power from your brain and being positive about everything! Maybe not everything, but more things to start with.
When you wake up in the morning be grateful to be alive, be grateful to have a roof over your head, be grateful for the food in your cupboards, be grateful for everything that keeps you alive that you always over look. your life will begin to change. your life could always be worse, so when things don’t go your way, smile and be grateful for the opportunity!
